Our opt-out policy
Individual.com provides you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving
communications from us in two ways. Both opt-out options can be found in the
Personal Info and Preference sections of the My Settings option located on
your NewsPage.
- The first opt-out option is
for the NewsPage Email which is sent to you daily via email. While it is
a core feature of our service, Individual.com can be used without
receiving the email and a number of individuals do so. They do this by
accessing the NewsPage Internet Version exclusively. Thus, we provide
users the option to opt-out of receiving this daily email, should they
so desire.
- The second option relates to
third party mailings. We allow certain email offers to be made to those
individuals who wish to receive them. This allows us, in part, to fund
the service we offer as does the banner advertising we display. Should
you not desire to receive these third party mailings, you may simply
opt-out of receiving them. You can also opt-out of receiving third party
mailings by clicking the opt-out option at the bottom of any third party
mailing we send out.

You may update or modify your personal information at any time by clicking on
the My Settings tab in your NewsPage.

Individual.com operates secure data networks protected by industry standard
firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies
are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized
individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
Who is in charge of your third party banner advertising?
The ads appearing on Individual.com are delivered to users by Google AdSense
and AdWords. Information about users' visit to this site, such as number of
times they have viewed an ad (but not user name, address, or other personal
information), may be used to serve ads to users on this site. For more
