A 50-year-old Sierra Vista woman died Monday night after being hit by a car while trying to cross a highway, police said.
Cynthia M. Jones was crossing Arizona 90 at Colombo Road, on the east side of Sierra Vista, around 9:40 p.m. when she was struck, said Officer Tracy Grady, a Sierra Vista Police Department spokeswoman.
