CNOOC's Lvda 27-2 Oilfield began Production in Advance

QINHUANGDAO, Nov 04, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --

China National Offshore Oil Co., Ltd. (CNOOC, SEHK: 0883, NYSE: CEO) has begun operating its Lvda 27-2 oilfield ahead of schedule, the Chinese oil giant announced on November 4, 2009.

The oilfield, whose 11 wells have started production, is situated in the east areas of the Bohai Sea, with an oil production capacity of 11,000 barrels daily. It is close to the Lvda 32-2 oilfield, which is under construction now.
