U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than $510,000 in marijuana and arrested one man accused of trying to smuggle the drugs into the country, official said.

Juan Carlos Gutierrez Marie, 20, was arrested Sunday morning near the Rio Grande levee, down-river from the River Bend Golf Course and later charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, court records show.
