Cooper Tire & Rubber Company elects Brad Hughes as CFO

Tyre maker Cooper Tire Rubber Co (NYSE:CTB) reported on Thursday that the company has hired Brad Hughes as vice president and chief financial officer.

Hughes replaces Phil Weaver, who will retire from the company at the end of 2009.

Most recently Hughes has worked as global product development controller for Ford. He also served as finance director for Ford's South America Operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil; director of European Business Strategy and Implementation in Cologne, Germany; European Manufacturing controller in Cologne; and in other corporate finance and treasury positions.
