Zambia: Foreign firms "submit" bids to explore gas

Eight firms have submitted their bids to explore for gas in 14 of the 23 oil blocks in three provinces in Zambia. The Zambian firms that have submitted bids are Mettrosol, Barotse, Chat Milling and Majutu.

The foreign companies are GB Petroleum from the United Kingdom, Glint Energy from Texas in the United States of America, Petrodel Resources of Isle of Man in the United Kingdom and Exile Resources from Toronto, Canada.
