Report critical of pet shelter administration: Humane Society change in effect.

Central Missouri Humane Society board members yesterday handed over results of an advisory report that cites operational and administrative deficiencies and suggests corrective actions.

Board member Genie Rogers with colleague Jim Loveless hand-delivered the Service Core of Retired Executives report to Columbia City Manager Bill Watkins and to the Tribune. The report was accompanied by a cover letter from CMHS Executive Director Patty Forister. The letter, she wrote, details "how the organization has incorporated these opportunities."
