The Open Door Community Health Centers hopes its insight on telemedicine will help other health care providers set up their own networks, providing not only connectivity among medical professionals but benefits to local economies.

Open Door hosted one of four national telemedicine conferences last week, attracting about 50 health care representatives from across the country. Representatives came from as far as Alaska and South Carolina and as close as neighboring counties.
